Generic Latisse is a compounded formulation of bimatoprost 0.03%, the same FDA-approved active ingredient found in Latisse®. It is used to enhance eyelash growth—helping lashes appear longer, thicker, and darker.
Bimatoprost extends the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle, helping lashes grow longer and fuller over time. With daily application, many users see noticeable improvement within 8–12 weeks and full results by 16 weeks.
Begin by thoroughly cleansing your face and ensuring the eye area is dry. Contact lenses should be removed prior to application and can be reinserted after 15 minutes.
Take out sterile applicators. Use a different sterile applicator for each eyelash.
Once nightly, apply 1 drop of the medication to the applicator and apply evenly along the upper eyelid margin of one eyelash.
Discard the used applicator and repeat the process on the other eye using a new, unused applicator.
Eyelash growth is gradual. Most users notice initial lengthening around 4 weeks, with increased thickness and darkness becoming more visible by week 8. Full results typically appear between 12 and 16 weeks. For best outcomes, apply the serum consistently each night—missed doses may delay progress.
