Compounded Medications

Lack of FDA Approval: Compounded medications are not evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Drug Shortage Response: Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are available due to an FDA-designated drug shortage. Their availability may change based on current FDA guidance. For the latest information, please visit the FDA Drug Shortages website.
Variable Effects: The risks and benefits of compounded medications may differ from those of commercially available versions. Discuss potential risks, benefits, and treatment options with your healthcare provider.
