Understanding your insulin syringe

Measuring your dose
Insulin syringes are used for subcutaneous injections. They are marked in Units on the insulin syringe barrel (see illustration). Insulin syringes facilitate the precise measurement of tiny amounts of liquids which are ideal for medications such as insulin that require small and accurate dosing. Unit marks are also expressed in mL’s and can be interchangeably referenced. A prescriber may write a prescription in Units or in mL’s.
Within the amount of liquid is the prescribed mg dosage of your medication (see mg chart). Milligrams (mg) is not an amount of liquid, but rather the amount of drug that is within. The conversion between units and milligrams varies depending on the concentration of the product being used.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Hair Regrowth Spray?
The Hair Regrowth Spray is a prescription topical treatment that combines three active ingredients—Minoxidil 7%, Tretinoin 0.025%, and Melatonin 0.5%—to support hair regrowth and improve scalp health. Applied once daily, it delivers a targeted approach to treating thinning hair and androgenetic alopecia without systemic exposure.
How long before I see results?
Most users notice reduced shedding within 4–8 weeks. Regrowth typically appears around 3–6 months with consistent use.
Can I use the Hair Regrowth Spray with other hair treatments?
Yes, this spray can often be used alongside oral finasteride, hair supplements, or low-level laser therapy. Always consult with your provider for personalized advice.
Is this safe for color-treated or chemically processed hair?
Yes, the spray is safe to use on color-treated or chemically processed hair. Just ensure your scalp is clean and dry before application.
What are the potential side effects?
Some users may experience mild scalp irritation, dryness, flaking, or redness—especially during the first few weeks of use. These effects are typically temporary and can often be managed by adjusting application frequency or layering with a gentle moisturizer. If irritation persists or worsens, consult your provider. Rarely, excessive use or sensitivity to ingredients may cause more significant inflammation or contact dermatitis.
How long do I need to use the Hair Regrowth Spray?
Hair regrowth requires consistent use. For best results, plan to use the spray daily for at least 6 months. Stopping treatment may result in gradual loss of regrown hair.
Can I use a hair dryer after applying it?
It’s best to let the product dry naturally before using heat styling tools to preserve efficacy.
How is this different from the Hair Regrowth Serum or Oral Minoxidil?
The spray provides targeted topical treatment with no systemic exposure. The serum is a lower-concentration formula, while oral minoxidil affects the entire body and may be more suitable for advanced or widespread thinning.
Can I apply it in the morning or at night?
Either works, as long as it’s applied once daily to a clean, dry scalp. Many users prefer nighttime to avoid disrupting their styling routine.
What happens if I miss a day?
Missing an occasional dose won’t significantly impact your results. Just resume your regular schedule the following day—don’t double up.
Is it safe for everyone?
This treatment is not recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, or if you have an active scalp infection. Always let your clinician know about any skin sensitivities or other medical conditions before starting. This product is toxic to pets if ingested. Store it securely, wash your hands after use, and keep animals away from treated areas until fully dry.
